A panel of advisors and referees have agreed to assist the development of WithOneSeed.
His Excellency José Ramos-Horta – Patron of WithOneSeed and former President of East Timor, co-recipient of the 1996 Nobel Peace Prize and a former prime minister of East Timor.
Dr Tim Flannery – Chief Commissioner, Australian Climate Commission. An internationally acclaimed scientist, explorer and conservationist. He was Australian of the Year in 2007.
The Hon. Steve Bracks – Former Premier of Victoria and currently advisor to Xanana Gusmao, Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste. Steve holds a number of board and consultancy roles with leader companies in Australia.
Professor John Thwaites – Professor at Monash University and Chair of its Sustainability Institute. He is on the boards of the Climate Group (Chairman of Australian board), and the Green Building Council. He is also a consultant to the Sustainability and Climate Change group at Maddocks, an Australian law firm. John was Deputy Premier of Victoria from 1999–2007.
Andrew Mahar – Founder of the social enterprises Infoxchange Australia, Info Timor and WithOneSeed. Andrew has been recognised internationally for his work including winning the prestigious Stockholm Challenge Award in 2001.
Mr Kenneth Gray – Partner in the Melbourne office of Baker & McKenzie where he advises on banking and finance transactions. He has extensive experience working in Asia and is a member of the firm’s Regional Council. He has been an integral part of Baker & McKenzie’s successful expansion into Asia.
Dr Janine Kirk AM – Lead Partner, Community for Oceania at Ernst & Young and a Director of the Ernst & Young Foundation.
Sara Gipton – CEO Greenfleet since early 2007 after moving to the environmental sector in 2005. Sara joined Greenfleet after holding senior financial roles at the Victorian Workcover Authority and prior to that worked at Ernst & Young.
Michael Spencer – Co-Chair of the Alliance for Water Stewardship and past CEO of the Forestry Stewardship Council of Australia (FSC). Through his work at the FSC Michael enabled With One Seed to bring its Country Coordinator to Australia to participate in the Asia Pacific FSC Conference in 2010.
Lyn Jenkin – Community sector marketing, project development and communications specialist.
Michael Robertson – Education Coordinator, Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne since 2003 where he has been developing student and teacher programs relating to environmentally sustainable development.
